Question: why did you choose to work with the ministry of defence?

Hi Nathan!

I chose the ministry of defence because they had an excellent year out scheme offering an experience of a whole range of engineering disciplines from welding to electronics so I was able to get a very broad appreciation of different elements before I went off to University. They’re also a good employer for job security and the work atmosphere is quite relaxed which is nice. Lastly I also got the feeling that as a civil servant I was doing my bit to serve the country and doing a bit of public good.
