About the Production Zone

Car production line. Wikimedia Commons.

Have you ever looked at a car, or a chocolate bar, or your computer mouse and wondered: How is that made? Well the engineers in this zone could be able to tell you.

In this zone the people who engineer the machines and processes that produce nearly everything in our everyday lives will be coming up with the goods.

One engineer in the Zone is programming robots to make parts for jet engines, there’s an engineer who helps get beans in cans and ketchup in bottles and another who’s job is to tell people on the production line how to put parts onto the different car engines. There’s also an engineer who is making machines that use lasers to mark the wires in aeroplanes and another one who uses living cells as factories to make drugs, fuels, and other useful things.
