      I think it does.

I think it affects me is ways that I don’t always know.

The people you teach you and the people you learn from by working with, have such a large impact on how you work and what solutions you come up with that I think my experience is very much affected by what I have made and worked on it the past.

Because I have never made anything by myself really. There is always help from friends, family, teachers, the internet, etc…

However everytime you work on a project, you learn what went well, what went less well and what was a disaster. And hopefully you learn from these experiences and change what you do the next time around.

I hope this answers your question 🙂

      Certainly.

I wasn’t that much into hardcore engineering, for example, so I focused instead on human-robot interaction. I still get to play with robots a lot, but it’s also a lot about how people react to robots, what do they do with them, and so on.

My work at IBM, even though it wasn’t on anything to do with robots, required a lot of attention to detail, and that mindset translated well into what I do now.

Studying in different countries certainly had a big effect on me. If anything, it taught never to take anything for granted and question everything. You need this kind of attitude to make sure things work, but it was also a necessity for me to persevere through the culture shocks.

These are just a few examples. I am sure, many more personal experiences shape what I do every day in more subtle and often invisible ways.

I think it has quite a lot. I never thought I will be working in healthcare or in education. I worked on projects I never thought of before, and I think I will continue working on projects I can’t think about now.

As I study a problem deeper, I find out of more problems and I want to find a solution to help.
