Question: How hard is it making a car with robot technology ?

Hi T.M thanumi, what an interesting question, I’ve never been asked something like that.

It certainly takes a lot of time, people and effort to get it right. A typical car factory will have about 500 robots and will take 2 – 3 years to design and install and cost over £100,000,000!

In the design phase, we will have a team of 25-30 people designing the robots and equipment to build the car. The customer will have over 100 people working on designing the car. We work really closely together to make sure the car is designed in a way that makes it easy to put together.
