      The helpful ones ๐Ÿ™‚

We have to thank robots for a lot of warehouse work – they help sort things so that they can be delivered to you faster.

We have assembly robots to build things in factories – from your phone to a car.

Scientific robots help us investigate Mars, the Moon, other planets, and the depth of the ocean.

Social robots actually help us learn about ourselves.

      Take your pick ๐Ÿ™‚

      Dear Jed,

My favorite robots are space robots.

But I donโ€™t think one type of robot is necessarily better than another I just personally love space robots the best.

I don’t think you can actually pick the best kind of robot, like you cannot find the perfect robot. Each robot is created for something else, there are different types of robots, and the cannot be compared with each others. For example, comparing an industrial robot with a humanoid robot, is like comparing apples with oranges.

Each robot was designed for different things and there isn’t a robot that can do everything. You can’t actually say that one kind of robots is better than another.

I work with some STEM clubs to build VEX IQ robots to take part in competitions. Itโ€™s like a mini robot wars for schools and brilliant fun. I think I actually prefer these robots to the ones I use at work ๐Ÿ™‚

Does your school have a STEM or Robotics club? If so, ask one of your teachers to take a look at this website http://www.vexrobotics.com/competition/

One of the schools I volunteer with have made it to the national finals and will be competing at the Big Bang Science Fair next week!
