• Question: what could be the worst thing that could go wrong as an engineer

      Loss of life would be the worst, I think. Spaceships exploded in the past due to engineering errors, for example, and astronauts died. More and more precautions are put in place to prevent this kind of thing, but engineering something like that is still a huge responsibility.

      I don’t think my work gets this close to being dangerous in any way. The worst my robots could do would be to bump into you at a very low speed 🙂

      I agree with Dmitry. The worst thing that could happen would be for someone to loose their life due to an engineering error.

      However, for my type of work, the only bad thing that could happen would be for one of my robots to fail when I am supposed to do a demonstration in front of an audience… or for one of my robots to hit me in the head and for me to end up in a hospital (yes, it happened!).
