• Question: What type of robot do you hope to develop within this year?

      This year I am actually taken a simple robot which has been designed by an guy at Manchester University and I’m going to try and improve it.

      I’m looking at how we can improve the robot so that it can more easily speak to other robots about what it can see, what it has found and where it is.

      This is because I want to use these robots to search for people missing in a disaster, like an avalanche or building collapse.

      I hope to develop a robot that can assist people in various ways, such as healthcare, education, personal, or business.

      I already kinda achieved the first two, I now have only two left.

      I hope to test and re-program a companion robot Buddy (http://www.bluefrogrobotics.com/en/buddy/). It has some impressive abilities already, but whether people like it or not remains a question. So, to answer that question, I’ll need to tinker with it quite a bit 🙂
