• Question: what was one thing you failed but continued and made it real?

      An early example would be finding an internship – I’ve applied to a dozen of companies, but the rejections were piling up just as quickly. Still, it is endurance and marketing yourself that counts in this business, so I continued with applications, interviews, and assessment centres. Finally, 7 months later I have received my offer, and went to work for IBM for a year.

      The latest example would be what’s happening right now – my work depends a great deal on robots being delivered on time. This doesn’t always happen, since what I order is brand new and often made by small companies, which need more time to develop their robots.

      I continue to find ways to overcome this, and contribute to society by publishing work on related topics, creating workarounds and generally persevering.
