anon answered on 3 Mar 2017:
It took me a long journey to realise who I wanted to be. I started with an interest in sciences in school, studied mathematics in the university, and towards the end of it decided it was worth doing something practical with that knowledge. Thus engineering, and specifically robotics came up.

Thank you so much for answering! Also, what did you do as a child to work towards being an engineer?
Iulia commented on :
I used to like to know what is inside things, like in a computer, in a radio and so on. Being curious is very important for becoming an engineer.

I see, that makes sense! Thanks again for being so helpful. Being an engineer sounds really interesting!

You are so lucky to be growing up after youtube has been invented.
There are so many cool videos about how to build your own things now. From cloud lights, to things like LED matrices (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3K8i0JQzx2w), to robots, to anything you can think of building there is a video for it.
So if I were young again that is where I would start 🙂
