• Question: Would you consider joining the royal enginers

      Hey,

      I did consider the Royal Engineers in the Army, but I was going to join the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) as that was more linked to what I am good at.

      But I wont be joining the Army again now as I hurt my back fairly badly when I was in the first time.

      I would consider it, but last time that thought crossed my mind my father said he will disown me 🙁

      I can’t join military by law, but they seem highly regarded.

      At school I was in the REME cadets – but I don’t think I’m cut out for the Army. I have a huge amount of respect for people that can do a job that physically and mentally challenging.
