      Hi 653,

I have most certainly done more theory work than practical. Much of my theory work is backed up through practical testing which is usually carried out by the manufacturers of the equipment. So for example I may forecast that something might fail a certain way (like a fuel system) and then the people who are responsible for testing will do some testing, the testing will help to see if my forecast was right.

      I hope this helps
