• Question: Do you ever have to deal with tasks that are life-threatening?

      Hi,

      Thanks for your question. I personally don’t find myself in life threatening situations, my office is thankfully quite safe and never seems to run out of tea thankfully!

      However, my work is very much focused on ensuring other people aren’t put in life threatening situations. My overall job, along with lots of other people is to ensure that people using the road are not put at risk So I work with street lighting engineers to help keep the roads lit. We have a team of transport planners who help plan road layouts so that junctions are safer. Safety is the primary concern of anything I design, both for the person who will build it but also for the person using the road.
