      Hi SammyDoodleWoo,

      (Great user name btw)

I actually have, In my previous job with Atkins I developed a weeks long training course for the Ministry of Defence, teaching how safety engineering is applied to projects. The course was really well received and its still good a really good reputation. I do miss teaching on it, I got a lot of pleasure teaching people and sharing my experience, in fact its one of the reasons I wanted to do this event.

      Hi!

Yes, I was a part-time tutor while at University. This involved helping younger University students through their tutorials (these are classes where the lectures are put into practice!).

      It was a great experience!

I am not a qualified teacher but I go into schools and carry out engineering workshops, teaching children how to make water filters and other fun projects. My workshops revolve around how engineering can help people in extreme poverty.
