Question: how do you make the internet safer?

Great question Abby!

Well, part of my job is designing applications that take a look at the vast amount of traffic (imagine little people) that flows through our network, and identify bad guys (those who are trying to trick you into revealing information under false pretences, or get your credit card information, or indeed infect your computer will all kinds of nasty software)

Once we have identified it, we work on removing it so you never come across it when you’re on the internet looking for cat videos (seriously, how great are cat videos)
