• Question: If you could choose a different field of engineering, which one and why?

      Hi Ellie,

      Good question Ellie,

      I would like to go into Energy or Formula 1. Energy because I think there are some really interesting and important challenges ahead and F1 because I watching it and seeing how the cars develop, I would love to be part of that fast pace of engineering.

      I think I would choose computer science, or something similar as this is a field I know very little about yet it’s becoming a big player in everything we do. I know it won’t be long until I start working with “Smart concrete” so would be good to better understand the basics.

      Hi ellie!

      Great question – there areso many different fields that I’d like to go into!

      I have an interest in the energy sector generally – so nuclear, and renewables are both fields I’d love to go into.

      I guess they are still in the same “energy” category as my current industry (oil and gas), so for a more far afield answer, I would say a biomedical engineer developing things like prosthetic limbs!

      I think it would be very interesting and rewarding! 😀
