      Hi cal_wba_coyb!

      My favourite is Carbon! It’s so versatile! In various different forms (allotropes) it is:

      -Diamond (the hardest known material)
      -Graphene (the thinnest material at one atom thick!)
      -Carbon nanotubes (strongest and stiffest material discovered)

      And of course, adding it to iron gives you steel – which is used extensively in engineering! 😀

      I am torn between magnesium and it’s beautiful bright white flame. Or perhaps sodium and it’s very dramatic reaction when you place it in water.

      I used to love chemistry lessons!

      A West Brom fan 🙂

      My favourite chemical would be have to be Carbon given that all of life is practically made of the stuff! All the people you know, your favoutrite football players, you, animals, plant life etc wouldn’t be around if it wasn’t for Carbon.
