• Question: What skills from your last job are used in your job today?

      Hi ELLIE!

      Well, my last job was as a sales assistant at Boots, so there’s not too many transferable skills! Although I did carry with me the focus on providing legendary customer service, and my skills as a fire marshall! 😀

      My job before being an engineer was working in a butcher’s. However my mental arithmetic from working on the till and giving people change is something I still use. Also customer service, even though I now “sell” bridges rather than sausages, it’s still the same focus on ensuring you give the customers what they want.
