Question: What would you say to someone who wants to pursue a job in chemical engineering when the are older? I really want to become a chemical engineer but I'm not sure where to start.

  Unfortunately, I’m not a chemical engineer so I can only give you very general advice.
  
  The first thing, you have already done, and that is identify what you want to do. That is great! Your next step is to do lots of research, what the job entails, how much you’d be paid, what qualifications you need. My best advice in this regard is to ring up companies you see hiring chemical engineers and ask really nicely what they look for! So many companies will be more than happy to help, and some may even give you a tour of their facilities, or chat to you!
