Great question! I’ve been interested in computers for a very long time, probably since I was 12 or 13. It actually all started when my Dad got our first computer, running DOS (long before Microsoft Windows had the pretty graphics you know today) and I spent hours on a really awful painting program!
Why do I like computers? Why not! If you look around the world as you know it, and think about how many things you do day to day are affected by computers, or someone’s work on a computer, we would have a very different world, no 3D films like Shrek, most of our medicines would not exist, the list goes on!
My key reason for getting in computing, is I like to play, to think of new ways to solve some really big problems, and computing allows me to do that every day.
