I like Neil’s idea for what he would like to do with the money. I was a big fan of the Crystal Maze as a kid so a I think a STEM based version of this would be a really fun way to teach STEM skills.
Oh tough as everyone is putting their money towards a really important cause – getting more people in to engineering. However, as it’s an area I would love to understand better then my vote would be for Matthew.
I have really enjoyed reading the questions and answers to the questions over the past few days, and I think any of the engineers would be worthy winners!
However, if I had to pick, I’d pick Pete because of the practical STEM activities he proposes to do with the money. I wish there were more practical events at school when I was younger – there is nothing like actually doing something with what you’ve learnt and putting it into practice!
This is a tough one, since as Philippa pointed out, we all want to donate the money to causes to get more of you guys excited about engineering. It’s all about how!
I like workshops, and I’ve made and delivered many myself. So I’d say Philippa, just for the reason that poverty is a big issue and we can all change the world as engineers here (even from my computer) 🙂
