      Hopefully you can follow the link below which is a video taken a couple of minutes after the satellite had separated from the rocket. I wrote the software that controlled the camera, the storage of the data and the power system of the satellite which enabled this to happen. This may not look a complicated thing to do but it was really quite technically difficult as the timing was critical and we only had one chance to get it right. My company are so pleased with it that this video is on continual display for our visitors to see. It took several days to get the video back to the ground as we only have contact with the satellite for about 8 minutes in each orbit. When I first saw this video it made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. While this isn’t the most challenging or technical difficult thing I have done I think it is probably the most spectacular.
