Question: What's the best thing you've done working at data recorders

I have been asked this question several times now as its a good question. Below is a link to a short video taken from a satellite a couple of minutes after it has separated from the rocket. I wrote the software that controlled the camera, power systems and memory until that enabled this video to be taken. Its wasn’t an easy thing to do and we only had the one chance to get it right but it isn’t the most technical difficult thing I have done either, however, for me it is the most spectacular I have done. When I watch it now it makes me think of when I was a boy and how back then I would never have imagined in my wildest dreams i would do such a thing. And that’s why I love engineering.
