Good question. There are better careers out there if just being good money is enough. I want to a job that has a positive impact. But I also have bills to pay, like everyone else!

Hi, I wanted to do a job I enjoy and contributes to society and engineering is that career. Plus I do get paid well.

Primarily I want to make things that work, that make a difference. The fact its a subject I love studying is a big help though!!
The help for future generations is massively important, we are working very hard at the moment trying to make things more efficiently , use less water, pollute less so we hand over a better industry to the next generation.
