• Question: How would you inspire more people to take up engineering?

      Evening teapot, I think it’s really important that students get to meet engineers and experience what they do. That way they can relate engineering to their interests. I loved space as a kid and making pop rockets taught me engineering was fun and interesting. So I would inspire people by letting them try engineering.

      I agree, but I also think we should put more effort into explaining how amazing the things we already have are and draw attention to the challenges of the future to inspire people to want to work on the solutions. Its so easy to think everything is done, or someones got everything covered but there are still many challenges.
