  I am glad you are considering a career in the RAF, it was very rewarding for me. You would need Grade C GSCE in English language, Mathematics and an a Science/Technology-based subject. You have to also pass fitness test and interview. If you became a Aircraft Maintenance Mechanic would work on aircraft servicing work, preparing aircraft for flight and ensuring that they are fit to fly. Later on you could do further training and then work carrying out maintenance and repair work on the airframe and propulsion systems on RAF aircraft such as Engines and Flying controls.
