Hi Thing_1, I am most proud of my service in the Royal Air Force keeping the Medical emergency Chinook Helicopters flying. These helicopters saved lots of lives.

      Hello

For me its about seeing my materials in action, either in the pool or on the hill. Seeing someone who has purchased the product and uses it because it works has such a great feel good factor.
There are also lots of smaller things ‘behind the scenes’ that make a difference too. We have reduced the amount of water we use in the dyeing of our textiles, we have started to use recycled materials. These are the things that really make a difference.

      Hi Thing_1,

the thing I’m most proud of is my PhD thesis. Every time I read it I can hardly belive it was all done by me. It was an amazing time of my life but also very challenging. So I’m very proud of myself for getting to the end of it.

I was proud to achieve a first in my degree because it was pretty tough but I made it through. I also worked for a year in a company that makes additives to make engines run well and that year I helped write up my results into patents. The work I do in the lab is very small scale and I know its unlikely to change much, but I feel proud I work in solar energy anyway, even if its just a small thing.
