      Yes, there are many different areas of research and work as an engineer. The work is interesting and challenging. You might create the next viral gadget or develop a product which helps with climate change. Engineers do amazing things.

      I’d recommend working in a STEM profession if it interests you. It can be hard work though, so you need to care about what you are doing or find it interesting.
