I just really loved maths which came easy to me. Physics depended on the teachers. I did both for the equivalent of A-levels and then went on and studied Maths and Computer science at my local university. I soon discovered that theoretical maths is not my passion and steered to the application of Maths and Computer science into Engineering. From there I applied for Airbus and joined as a Design and Development engineer and progressed to a Sytems Architect and now a Process Architect.

Similar to Adriana, I really liked maths at school, and I took Maths, Physics and Chemistry for my A-Levels. It was during my A-Levels that I got interested in space and satellites. I then went to university to study Physics with Astrophysics for 4 years – I chose this because I got to study all the cool space stuff, but also it gave a good background on general physics so it kept my options open if I decided I wasn’t so keen on space after all. But, I really enjoyed learning about space, and after I graduated I got my current job!
