      It depends on the rocket! If you’re talking about the time to design and build a brand new type of rocket, then it can take years to test and improve the rocket many times before it is ready to be used. If you’re talking about the build time for a rocket design that is already in use, then it is a lot quicker. For example, the SpaceX Falcon 9 rockets are a design that has been used many times, and can be built within a timeframe of a month or so (helped by the fact that parts of them are re-used).
