• Question: what does it mean when you see 3 stars in a row every night.

      Hi! If you’re seeing the same 3 stars, it’s probably part of a star ‘constellation’ (or a group of stars). An example would be Orion’s Belt, where we often see 3 distinctly bright stars! It depends on where in the sky we see it.
      Next time you see it, try drawing it on a piece of paper and compare it to a star constellation chart online 🙂

      I am not so sure. I would try to use a planisphere or one of the star mapping apps to see which stars they are. Do they come all the time through-out the year? Do they shine brighter sometimes and less bright other times? Try to keep a log (paper and pen) to record what you see. This is what scientists do!
