• Question: do you have time to relax and have fun

      Yes thank you! I have 2 children and I play clarinet in an orchestra – they both help me relax and have fun!

      Yes! Full-time work doesn’t mean giving up on weekends, holidays or hobbies. I like to travel and take photographs, and when possible, take the children with me. Most recently we went to Vienna for a week as a family.

      Yes, I try to deal with all chores and work during the week so that the weekend is totally relaxing/fun time. I also like to go new places with my partner or to visit friends and family often. I get a lot more relaxation time now that I have a job then when I was doing my PhD!

      Totally.
      I have time to spend with my children, with my friends, to do my hobbies. I even have time to teach and to compete in dancing competitions.
      Working in engineering is very flexible. I practically mould my work around my social life (if I’m dancing in troupe on a school night I’ll go to work at lunchtime the next day).
