      Not directly, no. But I am often listening to music while I work, so it’s influential in that way. 🙂

      Yes, I often think about music theory to explain phenomena in satellite communications. There are many aspects of wave theory (and more exotic topics that you study in university such as Fourier Analysis) that are common to both.

      Having a wide knowledge of how things work can lead to ‘light-bulb’ moments when you need to develop an new device or solve a problem.

      Also, works the other way round… when I’m playing my clarinet, knowing some of the physics can help me make different (hopefully better) sounds
