Yes. Being in the Space industry is very inspirational and I feel very lucky. I get to travel to amazing places and meet some very special people. This year I have been to USA three times, South Africa, Europe three times. I plan to go back to USA, Australia, Canada and Singapore.
I get to see some amazing equipment that will end up in space and work with the people who developed and built it.
One amazing thing is that you can use the maths and physics you have learned in school to design space systems – and they work!
Yes. The things that have been discovered because of the spacecraft I work on are frankly amazing. For instance, we know that there is liquid water under the surface of Enceladus, one of the moons of Saturn, because of the Cassini mission.
Absolutely! Working in the Space industry is inspiring as well as extremely rewarding. I work with world leading scientist and engineers, who are developing solutions with space technology and applications that will ultimately benefit everyone. To see that trajectory of information and knowledge is staggering and I am in a position that helps make this happen.
