      I’m quite detached from most “trends”. I mostly use social media to plan my social life and to chat to friends as opposed to talking to strangers.

      I was an early social media adopter, in that I used BBSs (look it up) and kept a LiveJournal (which I still update every day even though it’s a ghost town). I’ve used Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Tumblr but quit them after a while. From experience I know they’re a massive time sink so I don’t try to keep up with the latest everything. I know, for instance, that Kylie Jenner quitting Snapchat was a big deal but if you asked me what was on Kylie Jenner’s Snapchat, I would have no idea. 😛
