  First of all, let me sound the “I am not a lawyer” klaxon. Okay, now that that’s done: I don’t think there is any such thing in the UK as medical marijuana that you can grow on your windowsill. The only legal form of cannabis is a spray that is given to people with MS, on a prescription. So I believe you would probably still get in trouble with the law if you grew a cannabis plant on your windowsill, no matter what your intentions were to do with it subsequently!
