  The robots we make in the lab I work in are for planetary exploration. If we learn more about the worlds in our Solar System, we stand a better chance of being able to explore them ourselves, and maybe even live on them one day. I’m hopeful that what we learn will also teach us (humans) how valuable and precious our own world is, and to take better care of it, so that living on other worlds can be a choice rather than a desperate act to save ourselves.
