  The UK is actually a good place to host a launch site. In the north of the UK (mainly in Scotland) we have coastal areas which have clear sea next to them to allow for vertically launched vehicles to reach orbit. In the rest of the UK we have commercial airports which could host rockets that are carried by aircraft to the launch point. As such there are a number of potentiall locations for launch sites across the UK.
