      I’m not sure exactly… maybe because not many young girls have seen a lot of female engineers and scientists to inspire them?

      That is a really good question. I am really sad that this is still the case. I think we need to be better at representing female engineers and also help the general public to understand what Engineers do a bit better than we do just now. More female role models would help but I also think we need to stop stereotyping ‘boys’ and ‘girls’ toys from really young ages.
