• Question: did people judge you when you became an engineer?

      Not really, all of my friends and family have always been very supportive. Engineering is such a great career, and if you’re passionate about it, you shouldn’t worry about what anyone says.

      Not at all! Actually it was the opposite, engineers have a reputation for being clever and well paid so everyone was very happy with my decision. Unfortunately some people will judge you no matter what, if not about your job then about your hobbies or the way you look. But, as Katie says, the important thing is to work on whatever makes you happy, no matter what!
