  There are 8 planets in the solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
  The closest planet to the Earth changes as Venus, Mars and the Earth spin around the sun. For the most time of the year Venus is closest to our home planet.
