      All kinds, engineering is all about technology! In space engineering mostly electronics, because everything in the satellites is made of electronic components: digital microprocessors, analogue circuits like radio transmitters, embedded systems… Another critical piece of technology is propulsion: rocket engines are the most common but there are other technologies like electrothermal thrusters that generate speed using the electromagnetic force instead of combustion.
