Question: Why did you went to university

University is not essential, but it makes your life a lot easier.

When you have a degree, that tells an employer that for 3 years you studied hard at something and passed all the tests that the University set you. This helps a lot over someone that does not have a degree, as they must prove themselves in other ways.

University is also a time when you can move away from your family home, meet new people from all over the country and perhaps the world. You suddenly get freedom to try things that you’ve not been able to do before.
