My Typical Day: Wake up 08.30. Start the day with mails, fill it with high-level design and finish it with detailed electronic design and labwork. Heading home the head full of electronic stars around 19.00.

I wake up around 08.30, grab a few cookies then run to work to enjoy my first coffee of the day with colleagues.
I start my day catching up with my mails, answering a few support questions and hopefully no bad news. Then my days are usually spread across high-level subsystem architecture work (defining how bits should connect together), detailed design (designing the bits) and on good days, some work in the lab to verify the bits that have been designed.
When my partner does not drag me out of the office earlier, I end up around 19.00 often absorbed by some exciting engineering problem or reading about new topics which I am interested in.

I would probably use the money to design an electronic design and soldering learning kit. It would be used to introduce students and children to the fun field of engineering which is electronics.
