      I’ve been very lucky to meet several astronauts, and I’ve also attended a talk by Buzz Aldrin, the second person to walk on the moon! I’d love to meet Tim Peake one day.

      I’ve also met some members of the royal family, including Prince Charles (he officially opened my school!) and Princess Anne (who I met at an engineering awards ceremony).

    I’ve been fortunate to have met Tim Peake while working at ESA’s European Astronaut Centre (EAC) in Cologne, Germany. I started working there as Tim Peake and his astronaut class were carrying out their basic training after being selected to be an astronaut, so it was amazing to meet them for coffee breaks and lunch! I also met Chris Hadfield whilst working at the International Space University. I’ve met some amazing women too through my work with Rocket Women, including Lorraine Kelly.
