My Work
I work out how to make thin plastic films.

I work to roll up the plastic like a giant toilet roll. After the plastic has been melted and then stretched out so it gets very thin, it gets rolled up and then cut down to be sent all around the world. It is difficult because plastic is soft and squishy, and we make a roll that is sometimes 50km long.

My Typical Day: In my normal day I will be asked questions from the factory workers about how to improve what we make. I will then look at the data and do some calculations to work out how to do it best.
