    I live in London with my husband, and two children. I enjoy going for nice walks in the park, and getting a coffee and croissant every morning! My son loves baking but I am not very good at it. I love pop music and going to concerts.

    I live in London with my husband, and two children. I enjoy going for nice walks in the park, and getting a coffee and croissant every morning! My son loves baking but I am not very good at it. We have been making lots of banana bread recently. I love pop music and going to concerts. My biggest passion is diversity and inclusion, and helping people achieve things they never thought they could.

    I am chemical engineer with experience in safety, so I have worked in industries with hazards which need to be managed, like oil and gas. Now, I work on promoting diversity and inclusion in engineering and technology through my business EqualEngineers.

    I run careers fairs which help connect business with young people from different backgrounds so they can have a chat about what it is like to work in engineering.

      What's the best thing you've done in your career?

      Set up my own business

      What or who inspired you to follow your career?

      Unit 3 in my Standard Grade Chemistry on hydrocarbons. I loved it! Made me want to become a chemical engineer and work in the energy industry.

      What was your favourite subject at school?

      Chemistry, French, Maths and Drama

      What did you want to be after you left school?

      Chemical engineer

      Were you ever in trouble at school?

      I once for a punishment exercise for forgetting my PE kit. Other than that, I was an angel.

      If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?

      Something in nature, where I could be outdoors a lot.

      Who is your favourite singer or band?

      Beyonce, Christina Aguilera. Basically, any strong female artists. Love power divas!

      What's your favourite food?

      Pasta with pesto and LOTS of cheese (yum yum!)

      What is the most fun thing you've done?

      Travelling around different countries, touring across the United States.

      What do you call a pair of thieves? A pair of knickers. (<--- my FAVOURITE joke as a kid).
