    I am a highly motivated civil engineer, who has a love for all things sport.

    I split my time with living in Derry with my parents while also living in Belfast with one of my friends from University. I am a lover of all things sport and have travelled all over the world to see both Football and also UFC.

    I am involved in the design and construction of all things associated with Roads.

    I am involved in the design and construction process of Roads/Highway project. This involves the Geometry/Alignment of the roads to the Drainage which involves how water is removed from the road surface once it rains.
    With civil engineering i have also been involved in Charitable work by going to Rwanda in Africa to construct a Bridge which helps the local community get access to school and also to the local food market to help them earn a living.

     

  • My Typical Day: I start work at 8.30am, which normally takes place in an office however this currently is being done working from home. My day consists of design roads on 2D and 3D design software to aid the construction worker with building the design.

      What or who inspired you to follow your career?

      My love of physics/maths and Technology/design guided me towards a career in engineering

      Technology and Design

      What did you want to be after you left school?

      I knew early that i wanted to be either an Architect or A Civil Engineer

      Were you ever in trouble at school?

      I was never too badly in trouble in school. The usual missing homeworks.

      If you weren't doing this job, what would you choose instead?

      If i wasnt doing this job i would possibly be doing a job that involved sport in some way.

      Who is your favourite singer or band?

      My favourite singer currently is John Mayer but enjoying listening to all genres of music.

      What's your favourite food?

      My favourite food is mexican in particular burritos.

      What is the most fun thing you've done?

      The most fun thing i have done is when i recently travelled around Indonesia for 3 weeks on my own.

      If you had 3 wishes for yourself what would they be? - be honest!

      To visit every country in the world, be a professional sportsman and to live in another country
