I’ve been an Engineer for over 20 years working for the majority of that time working on engine development & manufacture from small passenger car engines through to massive engines used in marine and offshore applications. In the last 10 years my career has evolved into car development & manufacturing, most recently working for Bentley Motors developing the next generation of cars.
I am a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and STEM Ambassador mentoring students at the local University Technical College. I also support developing Engineers within Bentley.

My Typical Day: I'm an early riser and get into work around 6:00am, I'll try and do 30mins of personal development before I start my work day. I spend most of my day supporting the development of new cars through attending design reviews, supporting technical problem solving activities and reporting of the status of the projects I manage.
