Bring the CHRISTMAS LECTURES discussion to your classroom
I’m an Engineer, Get me out of here is an online event where your students interact with engineers and researchers online.
In this special event with the Royal Institution, we’re inviting you to bring your students online to ask questions, and take parts in live chats with engineers to discuss topics and questions inspired by the 2014 CHRISTMAS LECTURES, Sparks Will Fly.
How is this different from the standard I’m an Engineer event?
As it’s Christmas, we’re opening the ASK questions to the public; because why shouldn’t everyone be able to ask questions about the CHRISTMAS LECTURES? As normal, you will be able to book live chats for your students, and only your class will take part in that chat.
We’re also losing the competitive aspect; there will be no voting, and no prize money. The engineers will rotate on a weekly basis, with a new five each week. Live chats will be with the five engineers who are active that week, though the odd engineers might return to answer ASK questions when it’s not their week.
