Welcome the delegates back to the course, carry out refresher knowledge evaluation to determine levels of existing knowledge.

Introduce them to the new material utilising questions and answers and then asking them to take part in exercises, both indiviual and group, followed by summary answers and reviews to assess improved knowledge. Take any questions and giver feedback.

Explain through diversity of knowledge, expanding into other areas of infrastructure (Railway lineside equipment). I take them through electrical circuitry and show how these circuits have devoloped over the decades and how these electrical circuits have ‘migrated’ into solid state modules.

Demonstrate how the design of railway track systems and controls have changed over time and what the latest standards are.

Set additional work to be either carried out during day sessions or during ‘homework’ own time.

Allow the money to provide equipment and or bought-in skills so that the school(s) could assist with the further learning of various electrical skills and circuit design. Also provide fundamental computing skills in computing technology and programming.
